So I was talking with Marguarite..........

and she really wanted real hair. Am I crazy???? Hmmmmm....maybe. Crazy about my dollys~ definitely! I just couldn't stand the thought of someone elce's hair on her head.....so.........
off came the bottom 20" of mine. My husband couldn't believe it! I haven't cut my hair since we have been married~ EVER(well except the last inch every now and them to trim the ends). I figure in another 20 years, it will be as long again, as it was......

It looks waaay better on Marguarite than it did on me anyways...

Oh my goodness! I can't believe you did this, but it is so cool! I have a friend whose hair naturally just grows like a weed down to her knees(huh-nice little poem!). My own hair gets pretty long as I go 7 to 10 years between hair cuts(I braid it our stick in a bun and don't look at it).

Recently, I tried to cut my hair off for a friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer but the wig place wouldn't take it because I put henna on it! I was so ticked! I am growing it back in with no henna-someone will benefit from my lack of haircuts!

Love your dolls and yes, you little lady looks lovely with your hair. Your new hair must feel fantastic! I have a twin who keeps here hair about chin length-it is so fun to run my fingers through it!
Take care!

Thankyou everyone for your kind emails and comments~ but NO! Im not posting a picture of me here! A quote from Little Women comes to mind, as Joe has returned from cutting her hair and her sister says...'Ohh Joe~ your ONE true beauty!!' which is how I feel about me & my hair.... how on EARTH could I say no when Marguarite asked me so nicely to have it????
Marguarite, Abby, Grete, Lille, Minot, Brutus and the other girls have been so patient waiting for me to feel better and play~ I still have the flu so havent got too much done. I feel ok today, and am clear headed enough to draft Gretes 1839ish dress bodice~ the beginning of a new week~ I wish you all THE B*E*S*T*!

Well, I was going to ask for a pic of the new "do", but see you already said no, lol!

It looks lovely on the doll and I am looking forward to seeing her full length.

I've had the flu too and it's taking so long to completely go away. Feel better soon Rachael dear!

Fabulous, that Marguarite's hair! But you are beautiful with your still long hair, and as we get six inches per year (an average) it will only take you three and one half years to grow back 21 inches.

Marguarite is incredible!

XO,

Christine
