The Flour Mill is still one of our favorite places to visit, love Wonders of the World and their beads!Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14747037896438065491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21409941.post-84534374324603955942014-01-12T15:36:44.486-07:002014-01-12T15:36:44.486-07:00Ahhhhhh! Days spent sifting thru the 'sand' to find precious precious antique beads...I still have them, and they are still in the teapot~ I dont know if there will E*V*E*R be a project SPECIAL enough to put THOSE on~ they are sacred. I am glad now that we own our own property, and the arrowheads I find are MINE!!! I'm sure you know the ones I'm talking about!! Ha! The train store that Dad goes to now, Sunset Junction, still has one of the display rotisseries with tiny little things in it. Mostly electrical parts for train engines but a few N and HO scale figures, people, animals and such. Most of that kind of stuff is packaged now and hangs on a wall someplace.
Besides your "bead" collection, and your "sticker" collection, you didn't mention your "candy" collection! That was another store we always had to hit. Actually not so much an actual store, but just ANY store that carried specialty candies or cake decorating candies. I'll bet if you dig through your boxes at home, you'll find one with some tiny little dusty sugar flowers in it! Ha! Ha! You LOVED "collections". And true to form, you're still collecting. :-)
LY, MomBarbara Brownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17469359736831342869noreply@blogger.com
